Role Summary/Purpose:

An erection engineer oversees the major components of an erection, including budgetary concerns, time management, supply cycles, and safety regulations. Though erection engineers have specific duties, the job can encompass a wide variety of functions at an erection site.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Define which approach suit better to construction works and develop detailed schedule.
• To co-operate in the selection process of subcontractors and the coordination of their work.
• Maintain proper work arrangement, flow of materials, man power and ensure that tasks are completed as scheduled.
• Ensure the implementation at site of HSE policy, HSE management system and related performance objectives and targets.
• Be able to perform full responsibility for the implementation of all applicable legal and other requirements.
• Activate all organizational and logistic aspects of the site.
• Be able to manage the allocated resources in agreement with the referenced department.
• Organize specific remedial action in order to prevent works interruptions and budget excess.
• Prepare erection and lifting plans.
• Ability to use surveying equipment.
• Good experience in fabrication as well.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Academic Qualification:

• Training in vocational schools, or an associate's degree.

Professional Qualification:

• Have at least 7 years of experiences in a similar role on construction site of industrial plant.
• HHave ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings.

Skills:

• Structural steel erection experience.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a group of erectors on site.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication.
• Good command of the English language.
