Job Description
Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Position Summary:
To enter data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing and data management purposes. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
- Check source documents for accuracy
- Verify data and correct data where necessary
- Obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Update data and delete unnecessary files
- Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases
- Cross check completed work for accuracy
- Store completed documents in designated locations
- Respond to requests for information and access relevant files from document room.
- Should be ready to work as Document controller
- Should be ready to work in Transpiration/Accommodation department.
- May be designated according to field of activity or according to location of employment as Adjustment Clerk
- Communicating with coordinator related to administrative work.
- Assisting to supervisor to complete day to day task as and when occur.

Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
- PUC/ Diploma/Graduation
- Formal computer training an advantage knowledge with clerical and administrative procedure
