Role Summary/Purpose:

An erection engineer oversees the major components of an erection, including budgetary concerns, time management, supply cycles, and safety regulations. Though erection engineers have specific duties, the job can encompass a wide variety of functions at an erection site.

The Candidate Should Have Experience In The Following Spheres:

• Good Knowledge of Plastic raw materials (in particular PVC) and PVC additives, etc.
• Good Knowledge of PVC compounding using high speed mixers and processing parameters for compounding PVC.
• Good Knowledge of manufacturing of RPVC pipes, elec conduit pipes using Twin screw extruders.
• Good Knowledge in selecting proper tools such as die bush, pins, sizing sleeves, socketing tools etc.
• Able to Modification of Compounds & process systems to achieve better production.
• Able to do Parameter and die setting of extruder, Traction(hauloff), planetary and straight pipe cutting saw and socketing machines.
• Able to do Process monitoring and trouble shooting of PVC processing.
• Able to start m/c independently.
• Able to do Parameter setting for socketing machines & start independently.
• Able to solve simple electrical and mechanical problems rising during production.
• Should have experience in line quality control such as checking pipe diameters, thickness & eccentricity, to various standards, etc.
• Monitor wastage to reduce material wastage & purging.
• Monitor authenticity of pipes sockets and weights scale at socketing machine.
• Creative, Self-motivated, willing to learn, work under stress and meet dead line and able to work independently.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Diploma in Plastics (CIPET) or Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engg Preferred:

• Training in vocational schools, or an associate's degree.

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years

Age Limit:

• 25 to 35 years

Salary Scale:

• SR 3000.00 – SR 4000.00
